Australians are nearly evenly split on whether technological change is happening too fast. The difference may be partly explained by level of education. Australians with a trade or TAFE qualification and those who did not pursue qualifications beyond Year 11 were more likely to feel they cannot keep up with change.
A large proportion of Australians with postgraduate (67%) or bachelor (over 60%) degrees do not feel technological change is too fast for them
Over half of those with Trade or TAFE qualifications agree that they cannot keep up with the pace of change.
Almost three-quarters of those who finished their education at Year 10 or under report that they cannot keep up with technological change.
Overall, exactly half of Australians are keeping up with technological change (and 45% say they cannot).
