Is the Government singling out Muslims on terrorism?

A majority of those surveyed believe the Australian Government policies aimed at stopping terrorism single out Muslims for increased surveillance and monitoring. A slight majority of that 59% are bothered either ‘a lot’ or ‘some’ by this. And more - 70% - think Muslims should not be subject to additional scrutiny because of their religion.

Almost two thirds – 70% – think Muslims should not be subject to additional scrutiny solely because of their religion.
