Do strong borders keep us safe?

The Federal Government’s current border control policies are strongly backed as necessary to protect us from threats such as Islamic extremism and terrorism. Only 7 per cent strongly disagree with those policies. Terrorism is ninth on a list of the most important problems facing Australia, with just 2.5 per cent thinking it is the most important.
